My training as an architect has started in the architecture studio founded by my father, Arch. Giulio Antonelli, at the beginning of
the '60 in the heart of the historic centre of Rome, the Palatine - Circus Maximus.

Aware of the need to intervene in ancient contexts with projects capable of reading and understanding the existing architectural context, I have always considered this as a strength of my university and professional training.

I worked on projects at different scales, often starting with the restoration of existing buildings to re-invent entirely - from the furnishings to the landscaping - new spaces designed with particular attention to the recovery of technologies and local materials.

My theoretical and practical training at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” has always been flanked by professional experience in design and construction, matured early in the my family’s studio next to my father: construction management and design of interventions of restoration in buildings of great historical and artistic value, interior design as well as in private residences and tourist facilities.

With many years of professional experience between theoretical work and continuous contact with the workers at the construction site I am able to hone my design language tied to logic shapes and classic proportions which are treated in a contemporary and modern way with the use of new materials and technologies.

I have an excellent ability to draw freehand which is now more than ever essential in the preliminary phase of the architectural design and an extended knowledge of design programmes and 3D modelling, graphics and rendering.
